![]() You cannot manually edit this list from outside Office. This is the only way to edit the roaming dictionary. You can manually edit it by clicking on Edit Word List. You can make a different dictionary the default, if you want to. It says (Default) because it is the place where words are added when you mark them as "Add to dictionary". It will be available in any Office program where you are logged in with your account. RoamingCustom.dic (Default) - This is the dictionary stored in your Microsoft profile. You will see at least two dictionaries in there: You can find the dictionaries under File -> Options -> Proofing -> Custom Dictionaries. Word can (and does) use multiple dictionaries in various locations, including one stored in your Microsoft profile. ![]() The answer to your question is "All of the Above".
